Excellent natural product to cover my increasing greys. I use red henna one day then wash it out then the following day I use a mix of Katam and Indigo. This works to cover greys but I find it washes out easily and greys re-appear within a month. I wish it lasted longer so may consider trying the Sidr as shampoo in future to see if it really does make a difference in making herbal hair dye last longer.
Very easy to use and finally grays are covered. I used 2 steps red one day Katam the next. It covered my grays but not really in my mom so I mixed a little katam left it on for about 2 hours and finally it darkened. But I learned from Rozalia how to use it again next time. 1 hour for red under the heat cap or hair dryer and 1 1/2 hr for katam with heat as well and that shorten my origin time do do all the colors the same day as apposed to how I did it the first time that had my scalp itching like crazy. It was because I leave the henna on to long I had them on each for about 4 or 5 hrs. But next time I will do what Rozalia says with shorter time and use proper heat that I did bout use last time. I know it gonna work fantastic. And the colors looking more beautiful everyday. As soon as a little grey comes in time for root only touch ups now. 🙏
I love the color and how shiny it makes my hair.
I want to thankyou from the bottom of my heart :)
For the delivery and the katam +lawsonia+cassia, I just finished the 2 steps process and it looks very good. No white hair.
Finally! ( I developed a severe allergy to ppd.. and thanks to you I can color my hair again)
This review is for my 2nd application after 3 weeks of applying Lawson and Katam 50/50. This time I want to turn my 2% white hairs black by using Lawson on the first day and Katam on the following day. The Lawson dissolves quickly and easy to apply on my roots. It turned my black/dark brown hairs a shade of wine red and my white hairs almost a bright orange. Next day I applied the Katam, however, to my surprise I found the Katam very difficult to apply. The powder texture is thick and when added with warm water the powder bubbled up. Also, I kept having to add water to the mixture because it kept drying out and turns into chunks. This goes the same when applied on hair and it flicks to everywhere. Not happy! Reason it gets 5 stars is due to the end result. My black/dark brown hairs turned a dark walnut brown with hints of red wheni it catches the lights, and my white hairs a darker reddish brown (didn't turn black yet). I 'd really appreciate if you have some suggestions to make Katam easier to apply. Thank you!
